At Brewing Doodles, we hold our dogs in the highest regard, treating them as cherished members of our family. To ensure each dog receives the utmost love and care, while simultaneously allowing our breeding program to flourish, we have introduced Guardian Homes. This initiative not only helps us maintain a kennel-free environment but also ensures that every dog lives in a nurturing and affectionate home.
A Guardian Home provides an excellent opportunity for families to welcome one of our high-quality dogs into their lives without incurring the usual costs. These families agree to care for and raise one of our breeding dogs throughout their breeding career. Once the dog’s breeding tenure concludes and we have altered the dog, full ownership is transferred to the Guardian Home. Essentially, Guardian Home soffer a win-win situation where our dogs receive loving homes, and families receive a wonderful companion without the initial financial burden.
Families participating in the Guardian Home program are responsible for offering a loving environment, ensuring routine veterinary care, keeping the dog up to date on all vaccinations and preventative treatments, and providing necessary training and socialization. These responsibilities mirror those of any dedicated pet owner. As the dog’s original owner, Brewing Doodles covers all breeding-related expenses. An additional benefit for Guardian Homes is the provision of free boarding for our breeding dogs when available. Importantly, GuardianHomesdo not have breeding rights for the dogs, ensuring that all breeding decisions remain under our careful management

How it works

Fill out Application

Once application has been received, we will setup a call to move forward in the process.

Phone Consult

During the phone consult we will go over the guardian home process. Contract will be sent out to review, and then a meet & greet will be scheduled.

Meet & Greet

The last process will be a meet & greet, so that we can meet your family and you meet us!  This will also be when you meet the puppy or adult dog, to see how you all interact. If all goes well, than you will be selected as a guardian home!
